Bearfoot Productions represents the collaborative work of John Cleary & David Dooley.

We are a boutique multi-media production company based in Kilkenny, in the South East of Ireland.

With a strong focus on creating high quality video content for both the creative and commercial sectors, we create original, innovative, and focused promotional content suitable for all online and social media platforms.

We take a holistic approach to each project, carefully considering the story we are aiming to tell before deciding on the best way to tell it.

Alongside our clientele, we work to tailor the concept for each video to their individual needs, bearing in mind any signature aesthetic or design features.

Shooting

For us, the creative thread that begins in pre-production continues to wind its way through our camerawork, using location, lighting, camera angles, framing and shot selection to drive the narrative.

Our equipment set-up allows us to cover a wide range of occasions, and we strive to find both creative and appropriate solutions to specific location requirements.

Music & Audio Production

We create all of our music and soundscapes in-house, building a soundtrack that will drive the narrative, engage the viewer, and complement the imagery.

This means the music and soundtrack not only fits the individual, but is wholly original and unique to that project or brand.

All of our audio is captured on high-quality equipment, then professionally enhanced and mastered.

Post-Production

Capturing the footage is only one aspect of the production, and much of the creative work that goes into making our videos is accomplished in the editing process.

We build a distinct narrative around carefully selected imagery and use creative editing techniques to help improve and consolidate the overall quality of the final video.
